GranMa Sandy's Roast Beef
A perfect recipe to stick to your bones on a cold winters day.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ tsp of cracked pepper (do not add salt)
  • ½ package of Au Jus from the spice isle at grocers (this has plenty of salt).
  • Brown roast in large heavy pot, searing on all sides.
  • After browned on all sides add pepper and spice
  • Cover with tin foil and a tightly fitted lid
  • Slow cook on simmer for 4-6 hrs
Serve with Yorkshire Pudding
